OBERLIN, Ohio – A family of four people, two cats and a dog made it out of a four-alarm fire early Friday morning in Oberlin.
Firefighters were called to the two-story home shortly before 1:30 AM. Heavy fire and low water supply enabled the fire to quickly spread throughout the whole house.
Fire crews from Carlisle, South Amherst, Amherst and Eaton Township were called in to help.
No one was injured, however four family cats are unaccounted for.
Those living in the home are staying with relatives.
The cause of the fire could not be determined at this time.
