A car accident killed four family members (including an infant boy) in Ashtabula late Friday night, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at West 58th St. and Adams Ave. around 11:30 p.m. All four victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say 48-year-old Donte Conard was driving a Dodge Ram on West 58th and ran a stop sign, hitting the family's Toyota Corolla while they proceeded through the intersection. Conard suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The Toyota was driven by 18-year-old Giovanni "Gio" Miller. Nineteen-year-old Anastasia Smith and 47-year-old Michelle Holmes were also in the car, along with 22-month-old "Vanni Jr."
The Ashtabula post of the state patrol says either alcohol or drugs appear to have been a factor in the cause of the crash.
The accident remains under investigation. WKYC.com will continue to provide updates on this story throughout the day.
