CLEVELAND — On Monday's 3New Now with Stephanie Haney, the top headlines include major snubs in the 77nd Annual Golden Globe Awards nominations and the ongoing impeachment inquiry hearings.
In the second hearings before the House Judiciary Committee, lawyers for both Democrats and Republicans are testifying on findings from the Intelligence Committee's impeachment inquiry over allegations that President Donald Trump withheld aid to Ukraine in order to pressure its government to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden (which Trump denies).
This morning we heard from majority counsel Daniel Goldman and the Republicans' lawyer, Steve Castor, and this afternoon majority counsel for the Judiciary Committee Barry Berke took the stand.
3News investigative reporter Mark Naymik stops by the live stream to share what he's learned about upcoming changes to Ohio City's Westside Market, in hopes of keeping vendors and attracting new customers, and 3News' Romney Smith shares troubling statistics about flu season striking early and hitting harder than it has in years past.
We also celebrate Victory Monday, after the Cleveland Browns 27-19 win at home on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Then, we end things on an uplifting note with #WeKnowYouCan, your weekly does of #MondayMotivation, with a focus on building resiliency.
