WESTLAKE, Ohio — Last week, WKYC.com streamed a full face and neck lift procedure live on our site.
Our patient, Gloria Roman, and her surgeon, Dr. Michael Wojtanowski, provided full consent to let us inside the operation room at Ohio Clinic for Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery in Westlake last Wednesday. They also offered to provide us with updates following the surgery.

Wednesday:
Here's a look at Gloria prior to her procedure.
Thursday:
The day after her surgery, Gloria said she was not experiencing any pain or nausea. She took Tylenol for minimal discomfort and drank protein shakes through a straw, in addition to eating soup. She had some swelling but was excited about her new profile.
Saturday:
Gloria says she's doing fine. She says she has a little bit of swelling and some tender areas around her face. She expects the swelling and soreness to reduce within the next 10 days.
Monday:
Gloria had a check-in with Dr. Wojtanowski this morning. See photos from her check-up below.
March 20:
Gloria says she's had no difficulties in her recovery, only minor discomfort. She's taking Tylenol and still has some swelling, especially around her ears. She isn't wearing makeup yet and says she drove for the first time March 19.
March 30:
Gloria says she's been well and has returned to work. Still no makeup or exercise, but the swelling has gone down and she has started using post-recovery products.
