The Cleveland Clinic is updating its visitation guidelines at all of their locations in Ohio and Florida once again.
“As COVID-19 cases remain steady in our communities, we are able to safely allow more people to visit their loved ones,” Cleveland Clinic officials said in a press release.
Starting Tuesday, April 19, the following changes will be implemented across the hospital system:
- Two people will now be allowed to visit each inpatient at a time.
- Visitors to the hospitals must check in upon arriving and check out before leaving.
- The age restriction for visitors no longer applies.
- Visitation hours remain open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
“Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 can visit a patient no less than 10 days after testing positive or being exposed,” according to Cleveland Clinic visitation guidance. “Visitors are required to wear masks while inside any Cleveland Clinic facility.”
