City of Cleveland announces 24 new cases of COVID-19; 447 total with 13 deaths

The new cases include males and females, whose ages range from their 20s to their 90s.

CLEVELAND — The city of Cleveland has announced its latest totals of cases and fatalities due to coronavirus. 

On Monday, the Cleveland Department of Public Health (CDPH) was notified of 24 more confirmed test results for coronavirus in residents of the city. The total of confirmed cases in Cleveland is up to 447, with 13 fatalities, ranging from less than one year to their 90s. 

The new cases include males and females, whose ages range from their 20’s to their 90’s. CDPH is working to identify any close contacts of these residents who would require testing or monitoring for symptoms of COVID-19.

As of Monday, there are more than 12,516 confirmed cases and 491 fatalities in the State of Ohio. There are more than 778,000 confirmed cases and 41,000 deaths in the United States.
