CLEVELAND — Cleveland Play House has announced that it is cancelling Wednesday night's performance of "Light It Up!" at the Allen Theatre due to COVID-19 concerns.
If you had planned to attend the show, Cleveland Play House says it will be happy to exchange your tickets for another performance or provide you with access to stream the show online.
"We apologize for this inconvenience and we thank you for understanding," Cleveland Play House wrote on social media. "Stay safe and stay well Cleveland!"
The cancellation of the Cleveland Play House's performance has been part of a difficult Wednesday with the COVID-19 pandemic in Northeast Ohio. Six more Cleveland Browns players, including quarterback Baker Mayfield, tested positive for coronavirus. Cleveland State University has also canceled its next two men's basketball games, including Saturday's contest at Duke, due to COVID-10 concerns.
