CLEVELAND — The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority has announced that an additional employee has tested positive for COVID-19 today.
The employee, who works as a bus coordinator at the Main Office, tested positive earlier today.
The employee first reported symptoms their last day of work on Wednesday, September 16.
"Following our standard protocol, work areas, equipment and other areas of potential exposure were cleaned and disinfected," RTA officials said in a press release. "Additionally, other staff members who had been in contact with the employee were notified."
Of the 37 employees who have tested positive for the virus thus far, 34 have made full recoveries and returned to work.
