As Ohio lifts its health orders and mask mandate, businesses are beginning to re-open. That includes the Punch Bowl Social location in Cleveland, on the Flats East Bank.

The restaurant and arcade announced Wednesday that it would open back up to the public on June 9, 2021. It has been shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020.

When the entertainment facility opens back up next week, there will be many new protocols in place to keep customers safe. Customers will be required to wear masks when they are not seated at their tables. Employees will undergo temperature checks and questionnaires before every shift, and high-touch surfaces like doorknobs and tables will be sanitized regularly.  Tables will also spaced at least eight feet apart.

There will also be social distancing measures in place, and touchless pay options. The restaurant is also asking that you make a reservation or call ahead to get on the wait list before you come.

To celebrate its reopening, Punch Bowl Social is advertising some new seasonal cocktails, including Catalina Sangria, Topoloma (Topo Chico paloma) and more, as well as some new menu items. Happy hour will be back on Sunday and Wednesday-Friday from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. with drinks and bites from $3 - $7, as well as brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Try the ultimate brunch treat, the Apple Pie Mimosa complete with apple cider, a cinnamon sugar rim and topped with a sweet, dried apple wheel.
