It's no secret the pandemic is taking a toll on the mental health of many of us. But are your Covid worries keeping you up at night?
For patients who've already dealt with anxiety, the pandemic piled on a whole new set of worries, but doctors have seen it escalating in the past few months.
Between a lack of job security or just fearing the virus, we all have a lot on our plates.

Stay informed on the pandemic with credible sources.
"Get that information but don't dwell on it, otherwise your mind will be racing and when it races you lack sleep," Dr. Thornley says.
If you can’t sleep, she adds try getting out of bed and doing some light activity around the house and then try to go back to sleep. But don’t bring your worries to bed, the bedroom should be a space of relaxation and peace.
Start winding down two hours before bed and yes, that means limit screen time of television, computers and phone.
Try reading a book or drinking a cup of caffeine free tea. Focus on what you can control, and try not to worry about problems that don't exist yet.
