While we focus on our health and wellness, people are stepping up in big ways to make sure our basic needs are met, including Cleveland Cavaliers' Kevin Love, who donated $100,000 to help workers put out of jobs by the closing of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, and Cavs' Larry Nance, Jr., and Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield and 3News special correspondent, Emily Mayfield, who donated a combined total of $150,000, split between the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank.
On Thursday, with a big of ingenuity, Greater Cleveland Food Bank was able to serve 1,203 families in just a few hours, using a drive-thru method.
