Great Lakes Brewing Company temporarily closes due to coronavirus concerns

"We look forward to sharing a pint with you soon."

CLEVELAND — The coronavirus pandemic is impacting businesses around the world.

Great Lakes Brewing Company, here in Northeast Ohio, announced Sunday that they would be temporarily closing their doors.

The company took to social media to make the announcement.

" As an employee-owned and community-focused company, we feel this is the right decision at this time," the company said on social media.

GLBC say they will continue to monitor the situation and take the advice of Gov. Mike DeWine, the CDC and state health officials.

Brewing operations will not be impacted by the closure.

As of Sunday afternoon, Ohio has 36 confirmed cases of coronavirus within 11 counties.
