CLEVELAND — As you can imagine, it’s been a very busy past few weeks for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, and they are still in need of your financial support if you are able.
According to the Director of Communications & Special Events for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Karen Pozna, “We need the funds right now to be able to purchase shelf-stable food for our emergency boxes that we are assembling daily, as well as bags of food for the kids backpack program.”
$1 of your donation will provide up to 4 nutritious meals to someone in need right here in Northeast Ohio.

Along with adding 60 members of the Ohio National Guard and Ohio Military Reserve to the food bank this morning for additional support, they’re stepping up their safety precautions by requiring every staff member to have their temperature measured before working onsite.

Under Governor Mike DeWine’s “Stay At-Home Order” issued on Sunday, food banks are considered essential providers and are categorized under the Human Services Operations.
