MetroHealth relaunches 'Prescription for Hope' podcast dedicated to coronavirus

'Prescription for Hope' is available to stream on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other platforms.

CLEVELAND — MetroHealth System has announced that their dedication to keeping the community informed about the ongoing COVID-19 concern has led them to revive the award-winning podcast "Prescription for Hope." 

This time the podcast will focus on answering questions about current and growing coronavirus concerns.

The podcast was first launched in 2018 by MetroHealth's communications department and focused on the opioid epidemic and those who were working to combat the crisis. 

The first episode of new season dealing with the current health concerns was released on March 19th and featured Vice President and Chief Quality Officer Dr. Brook Watts as she answered the most basic questions about the virus, including how it is transmitted and what we all can do to stop its spreading. 

Episodes of the podcast will be release regularly and can be found on multiple streaming platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Soundcloud.
