More than 340,000 people worldwide have recovered from coronavirus

According to worldmeters.info, more than 340,000 people worldwide have recovered from coronavirus, including 22,800 people in the United States.

According to WorldMeters.info, 340,188 of the 1,537,954 people infected worldwide have recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19) as of 9:30 a.m. ET on Thursday. The same site is reporting 89,957 deaths worldwide as the result of the virus.

In the United States, 22,941 of 435,780 infected people have cleared of COVID-19, with 14,865 deaths. The greatest number of recoveries up to this point has been in China, the origin of COVID-19, where an estimated 77,370 of 81,865 infected people have recovered. China has reported 3,335 total deaths.

Following China in the number of recoveries is Spain with over 52,100 survivors out of 152,446 cases. Italy, which has been especially hard in its COVID-19 causality count with 17,669 deaths, is fifth in its number of recoveries at over 26,400 out of 139,422 cases.

The United States ranks sixth worldwide in the number of recoveries from COVID-19.
