CAMP HILL, Pa. — As Ohio continues to try and ramp up its coronavirus testing capacity, one of America's largest drugstores is once again assisting in the efforts.
Rite Aid announced Wednesday it will add four new testing sites at various locations across the city of Cleveland. Starting Thursday, patients will be able to get swabbed at these stores:
- 6512 Franklin Blvd.
- 5411 Superior Ave.
- 10090 Chester Ave.
- 3402 Clark Ave.
This expands Rite Aids testing capacity to 264 locations across 15 states, including 10 in Northeast Ohio alone. With these, the chain will be able to test more than 96,000 people per week nationwide.
The testing will be conducted by a pharmacist at an outside drive-thru window, with all adults 18 or older eligible even if they are not exhibiting overt symptoms of COVID-19. The sites are open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekends.
