LOS ANGELES — Everyone has been impacted by the stay-at-home orders due to COVID-19, including Hollywood stars like Tom Arnold.
Via Zoom, reporter Austin Love caught up with the comedian to see what life is like for him and his family while social distancing.
In the interview, Arnold discusses growing up in Iowa and why his inspiration to become a comedian came from Bob Hope to making his father laugh. He even shows a picture in his office that Bob Hope eventually signed for his father.
Arnold also praises the work that Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has done in the Buckeye State as the coronavirus battle continues.
“I’m a Democrat. Your governor is a Republican. He’s done an amazing job," Arnold said. "He is a take-charge guy. It’s really been about these governors taking charge of their states. All due respect for Mike DeWine. He’s taking good care of your state.”
