AKRON, Ohio — Are you starting to feel under the weather?
Summa Health is now offering free e-visit coronavirus screenings “in an effort to reduce the outbreak.”
Here’s how it works: Patients should visit Summahealth.org/virtualvisit and choose the e-visit service.
“A tool will screen patients and determine potential COVID-19 exposure, then implement a triage system to best treat those patients,” officials said. “If an e-visit is recommended, it will be free of charge for COVID-19 and other associated conditions.”
The service, which is normally $29, is available for more than 30 diagnoses, but will be free for coronavirus, flu, sinus infections, hay fever and allergies.
The e-visit option is available 24/7.

Summa Health has also established a coronavirus call line, which is being answered 24/7 by trained clinical staff at 234-867-6314. Since starting the phone line on March 4, Summa Health officials say they have received nearly 300 calls.
Earlier this week, Summa Health announced visitation restrictions at all of their facilities until further notice.
