Survey finds that 94% of couples are changing the date of their wedding amidst COVID-19

CLEVELAND — A new survey of engaged couples is showing that 94% of couples have already, or are planning to change the date of their upcoming wedding. 

Due to this shocking statistic, many couples are trying out new ways to update their family and friends when it comes to plans regarding their wedding.

Digital 'Change the Dates' are the newest trend when it comes to keeping wedding plans open and flexible, especially during a period of uncertainty. 

WithJoy, a wedding planning website, said that their data shows 56% of couples will send digital Change the Dates, 28% of couples will use their wedding website to alert guests of their updated wedding plans, and only 16% will still use printed wedding stationery.

The website is also now offering free downloadable 'Change the Date' cards to any couple affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
