Two pop-up COVID-19 testing sites coming to Northeast Ohio this week

The testing sites will be active July 21- July 25

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Health is working to ensure that coroanvirus testing is available to residents across the state.

Two pop-up testing sites will be available in Northeast Ohio this week, the department said in a release Monday. The two locations include Alliance and Rootstown beginning Tuesday, July 21 through Saturday, July 25. Specific details including hours and location for each facility can be found below: 

Alliance Testing: 

When: 

July 21, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

Where: 

College Plaza Location (hosted by Family Empowerment Ministries/Spirit of Faith Christian Center)   1150 E. State St. Alliance, OH 44601 

Rootstown Testing:

When:

July 21, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.  

July 23, 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.   

July 25, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Where: Northeast Ohio Medical University   Campus Parking Lot “B” (south side of campus)   4209 State Route 44 Rootstown, OH 44272 (Enter Loretta Dr. from Tallmadge Rd., exit State Route 44) 

At the testing sites, no appointment or physician's referral is needed. Tests are also available at no cost to residents.  The facilities are located in undeserved areas, but open to anyone.
