As COVID-19 numbers across the state continue to rise, another Northeast Ohio establishment is taking an additional step to help reduce the spread. On Friday, LBM in Lakewood announced that it will be requiring those who are dining indoors to provide either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.

LBM announced its new policy, which went into effect on Monday, Sept. 13, with a post on its Facebook page that read:

"Hi Friends!

"We are very excited to be opening back up on Monday with our new menu. With that we will be updating our COVID policies to better protect our crew, their families and guests in conjunction with some of our cocktailing friends who will have their announcements on their own timeline.

"Starting on Monday 9/13 we will be requiring all guests dining indoors to show proof of vaccination or a negative test from at most 72 hours prior to the visit. Anyone without proof can dine outdoors on our patio weather permitting or get their food and drinks to go. Acceptable proof of vaccination includes the original vaccination card, a copy of it, or a picture like your Instagram selfie with it.

"Thank you all for understanding and being supportive during this continued crisis."

The cocktail bar and lounge, which is located on Madison Ave., is the latest Northeast Ohio establishment to take such measures, joining the likes of Felice Urban Cafe in Cleveland and MOJO in Cleveland Heights.
