CLEVELAND — School is back in session, and for many students and teachers that also means the return of flu season.
Walmart is offering flu shots and other mobile health services at four Northeast Ohio stores on select dates as back-to-school season begins.
The Walmart Mobile Health & Wellness Tour is making stops in Lorain, Avon, Brooklyn and Parma over the next week, offering flu shots, immunizations and boosters for adults and children aged 3 and up. The mobile clinic will also offer free "health and vision screenings, pharmacist consultations, eyeglass adjustments and cleanings," according to a press release from the retail chain.
Insurance is not required, but patients should bring an insurance card if they have one, Walmart says.
The Walmart Mobile Health & Wellness Tour will be open at each stop from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Here's where the stops are planned:
- August 29 – 31 at 4380 Leavitt Road, Lorain
- September 1 – 2 at 35901 Chester Road, Avon
- September 5 – 6 at 10000 Brookpark Road, Brooklyn
- September 7 – 8 at 8308 W. Ridgewood Drive, Parma
