CLEVELAND — On Friday's 3News Now with Stephanie Haney, the top headlines include holiday shipping deadlines and the House Judiciary Committee voting to send articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump to the full House of Representatives for a vote.
Trump has been accused of abuse of power and bstruction of Congress. Both articles were passed by a 23-17 margin, with all Democrats in favor, and all Republicans against.
The articles are expected to be sent to the full House for a vote next week.
After the vote, Trump tweeted: "How do you get Impeached when you have done NOTHING wrong (a perfect call)," before launching into a list of things he says he’s done to better the country during his presidency.
3News' sports reporter Matt Florjancic will join the live stream to talk about charitable giving by the Cleveland Browns individual players, who banded together to give $100,000 to Lutheran Metropolitan Ministries’ Breaking New Ground initiative, an organization in support of affordable housing initiatives to provide stable housing “for families exiting homelessness, particularly those who are impacted by the criminal justice system.”
