Libraries have always been viewed as a quiet place to read or study and as a safe haven for kids. But The Investigator Tom Meyer has discovered a troubling trend that might change the perception of your local library.
Incidents of crime at the library have been on the rise. Almost 2,000 incidents ranging from drug use to public indecent to gunfire and violence have bee reported over the last two years in Cuyahoga County alone. With 27 branches in the Cleveland library system, that's almost two instances per day of criminal activity at each library.
