The school is for at risk 9th and 10th grade young men. At-risk doesn't have to mean behavioral problems but can mean a student isn't reaching his full potential. So far, administrators say there are 170 students more than what they expected. The students are coming from all over the country moving to Cleveland for the school.Family, respect and discipline will be stressed at the school. The founder and executive director, Ted Ginn Senior has planned this school for nearly 10 years. Coach Ginn says, "Today is kick off. We are playing a game, the game of life for these young men."The Ginn Academy will eventually become a boarding school, but more donors are needed to make that happen. The school is located on East 32nd Street.Education Reporter Kim Wheeler visited the school today, click below to see her report.
