CLEVELAND — On Wednesday's 3News Now with Stephanie Haney, the top headlines include what's being said at impeachment hearings pertaining to President Donald Trump, the fact that Willie Nelson is no longer smoking weed and a Canton woman who people are arguing should be canonized as a saint.
3News sports analyst Ben Axelrod also joins the live stream to talk about Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor, who is most likely going to get traded and soon.
Regarding today's impeachment hearing, four law professors sat on a panel before the House Judiciary Committee. Three of them, called by Democrats, are recommending in favor of impeachment and one called by Republicans is recommending against impeachment.
The impeachment inquiry is based on a phone call from July 25 where Trump is accused of pressuring the Ukrainian President to investigate former vice president Joe Biden and his son Hunter over dealings in Ukraine.
Trump is said to have leveraged military aid to Ukraine, which faces Russian military aggression. Trump continues to deny this.
