COVENTRY -- Three teenagers are facing charges in connection with an alleged hazing incident that took place at Coventry High School on February 6.
According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, members of the high school wrestling team hazed and assaulted other members of the team.
Today charges were filed against the three teenage boys.
A 16-year-old has been charged with three counts of hazing, three counts of assault and two counts of abduction.
A 17-year-old has been charged with three counts of hazing and three counts of assault.
A third teen, an 18-year-old, faces one count of hazing.
The two juveniles have been booked into the Summit County Detention Center. The 18-year-old was brought to Barberton Municipal Court.
The case is still under investigation and the Summit Sheriff's Office says further charges are pending.
