TWINSBURG, Ohio — The Northern Ohio Chapter of "A Kid Again" is planning something special for their families this week.

As the world continues to adjust to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, many families with at-risk children have been trapped inside their homes.

On Friday, June 19 the social service organization will host a drive-thru celebration for it's families with a child facing a life-threatening condition.

The celebration will serve as an opportunity for families to come together in a safe and enjoyable way.

The event will also serve as the launch of the non-profit's new "Adventure Box" program. The program provides activity kits to families that they can enjoy together at home. It serves as a supplement to the groups regularly scheduled events and outings that have been halted due to COVID-19 concerns.

Families in attendance at Friday's event will receive and activity kit to take home.

The event will take place at the Northern  Offices located at 9347 Ravenna Road from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
