On Thursday, Cleveland agents from the Ohio Investigative Unit served a search warrant at the Red Circle Bar at 6056 State Road in Parma. for illegal gambling, according to a news release.
Agents charged Joanne Lipa, 52, and Raymond Lipa, 55, both of Seven Hills, with gambling, operating a gambling house, illegal possession of intoxicating liquors and theft, according to the release.
During the search, agents seized four gambling machines, more than $1,100 and 28 bottles of liquor.
They are set to to appear in Patra Municipal Court on Jan. 11.
The administrative case will be presented to the Ohio Liquor Control Commission.
Possible administrative penalties include fines, suspensions or revocation of the liquor permit.
