AKRON -- Police say they have issued warrants for Mark E. Clay, 24, of Akron, for aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and abduction.

Police say that about 10 a.m. Wednesday, a Jason Avenue woman, 62, said she was inside her home talking on the telephone, when two suspects entered her unlocked front door.

The woman tells police the suspects were armed with handguns.  She said one suspect was wearing a mask and the other suspect was not.

Police say the woman told them she recognized the suspect without a mask as a friend of her son.

The suspects held a gun to her head and made her get down on the floor, police said in a news release.

Police say the suspects tried to tie the victim up, and then ransacked her house.

She said the suspects took her cell phone and ran out of the house. She then walked next door to a neighbor’s house and called the police. Police say the woman was not injured.

Police described clay as standing 6’03” tall, weighing 190 pounds, with a beard and mustache. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police added that the second suspect, who has not been identified, is a black man, wearing a black ski mask and blue coat.

Anyone with information on the second suspect is asked to contact the detective bureau.
