2024 FirstEnergy Akron Marathon Race Series | RESULTS

Aaron Davidson from Flagstaff, Aroizona, won the men's race with a time of 2:25:30.

AKRON, Ohio — The 2024 FirstEnergy Akron Marathon took place on Saturday, with more than 8,000 athletes and 100,000 spectators present in the Rubber City for the event.

"We’re thrilled with the success of this year's Akron Marathon Race Series, Anne Bitong, president & CEO of the Akron Marathon Charitable Corporation, said in a statement. “The energy from the community, the dedication of the participants, and the support from our sponsors–FirstEnergy, Summa Health, and the City of Akron–are what make this event so special. Our mission has always been to promote health, fitness, and community spirit, and it's inspiring to see how the marathon continues to bring people together in pursuit of these goals."

The men's race was won by Aaron Davidson from Flagstaff, Arizona, who posted a time of 2:25:30. Meanwhile, the women's race was won by Maura Lemon of Dayton, who crossed the finish line with an impressive time of 2:52:37, with Grace Barnard from Stow winning the non-binary category with a time of 5:59:35.
