AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Police Department is asking for help from the public with finding a suspect's vehicle after allegedly driving away with a medic in the car.
The incident happened on Wednesday, Dec. 21, when a medic responded to an individual passed out behind the steering wheel at an intersection.
Upon arriving and attempting to place the car in park, the suspect drove away, dragging the medic while they were still in the car door.
The Akron Police Department describes the suspect's car as a 2011 dark blue/black Mercedes E350 4matic sedan. The suspect's vehicle is pictured below.
Police officials did not say the condition of the medic who was involved.
In a Facebook post, Akron Police asked that "any social media tips that contain personal information, including names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or mailing addresses, should not be posted as a comment here; please send via inbox."
