AKRON, Ohio — Akron police were called to the 300 block of Upland Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
When police arrived at the address they found a two-year-old child had fallen out of a second floor window.
The toddler suffered a broken leg and pelvis.
An ambulance treated the child before transporting the little boy to Akron Children's Hospital for further treatment.
The little boy's mother, Ashleigh Bates, 26, was arrested and charged with Felony Child Endangering. She was taken to the Summit County Jail.
