Akron Zoo to offer free admission for Summit County residents in September: How to get your tickets right now

Akron Zoo officials say there is a limited number of tickets available each day from Sept. 1-30 with a limit of four free tickets per household.

AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Zoo is offering free admission tickets to residents of Summit County throughout the month of September as the zoo's annual Community Days return.

The free tickets must be reserved online in advance -- which you can do right now by clicking HERE.

Zoo officials say there is a limited number of tickets available each day from Sept. 1-30 with up to four free tickets per household. Residents must enter a valid address in Summit County to obtain the free tickets.

Parking is free to all visitors at the zoo.

The Akron Zoo is currently open daily from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. through Sept. 2. Then, starting Sept. 3, the zoo’s hours shift slightly to 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily until April 30.
