AKRON, Ohio — Wild Lights, an annual holiday favorite, will return to Akron Zoo for the 2023 holiday season!
The event will begin on Friday, Nov. 24 and run through Friday, Dec. 29.
Wild Lights will run on select dates from 5 to 9 p.m. The dates can be seen below.
- Nov. 24-26
- Dec. 1-3
- Dec. 8-10
- Dec. 15-23
- Dec. 26-29
Families will be able to celebrate the holidays by taking in a lighting display featuring more than one million lights, featuring the "Rockin' Lighted Spectacular" animated wall of lights set to holiday music.
Opportunities to visit the Grinch will take place at all available dates in December as well as visits with Santa through December 23.
Mrs. C's Sweets will be back to offer a selection of sugary treats along with hot chocolate and coffee. Adult beverages will also be available for purchase.
Tickets can be bought online or in person on the day of the event.

For guests with different abilities that may not enjoy being around big crowd or do not like loud noises, a special "Zoothing Wild Lights" event has been added to this year's offerings on Thursday, Dec. 7.
