Woman's body found outside of home in Akron

AKRON, Ohio — An investigation is underway after a body of a woman was found outside of a home in Akron on Wednesday afternoon.

Akron police say they responded to a home in the 900 block of Valdes Avenue after an individual reported finding a body.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the woman's body with no apparent signs of trauma. 

The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office is working to identify the body. An autopsy will also be done.
