AKRON, Ohio — A 24-year-old man has died following a shooting Monday night in the 1000 block of Rosemary Boulevard in Akron.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office says the man was shot multiple times around 7 p.m. He was taken to an Akron hospital where he later died at 7:51 p.m.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
Akron police say officers also found a 39-year-old woman nearby with a leg injury after she was grazed by a stray bullet. Police say her injury was considered "superficial."
"Bystanders reported seeing a suspect in a dark-colored vehicle shooting at the victim as he was riding a four-wheeler," police said.
The investigation is in the early stages, and no arrests have been made at this time.
