AKRON, Ohio — It's time to get excited about the sunshine state: Breeze Airways, self-described as "the newest, nicest domestic low-fare airline," announced Tuesday that it will be adding a nonstop route to Fort Myers, Florida, from the Akron-Canton Airport.
The new route will be seasonal -- winter and spring -- beginning on Nov. 16. The airline announced the new route with a promotional fare of $59 for a one-way ticket -- but you'll have to book by July 24.
The new route operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Other nonstop flights from Akron-Canton include: Charleston, SC; Las Vegas, NV; Norfolk, VA; Orlando, FL; Tampa, FL; and West Palm Beach, FL.
And here's the best part, according to Breeze, you won't be charged for changed flights or cancellation fees up to 15 minutes prior to departure.
Vacation just got a whole lot easier!
