NEW FRANKLIN, Ohio — New Franklin Police and members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force have arrested the man wanted for the September murder of an Akron woman.
Daniel Lee Jones, 46, was taken into custody without incident on Tuesday after warrants were issued for his arrest on murder and abuse of a corpse charges.
The charges stem from the homicide of Kerri Blondheim. Investigators say the 43-year-old woman was murdered, then her body was set on fire and left off the side of Van Buren Road in New Franklin on September 23.
