AKRON, Ohio — Officials with the Akron Police Department say that they have safely located an 11-year-old girl who went missing last week.
At approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, January 14, I’Labeth Olesky left her home. Police said that Olesky, 11, was observed on video leaving the apartment building she lives in and getting into a royal blue, four-door sedan with an unknown person. Her apartment building is located at the 2500 block of Wedgewood Drive in Akron. The car Olesky entered into has a missing right front hubcap.
Olesky did not have permission to leave the residence with anyone.
On January 15th, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Olesky was seen inside of the Alliance Walmart with two unidentified individuals. The group was seen leaving in a small black car.
Olesky is between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7 and weighs between 130 and 150 pounds, according to authorities. She was last seen with white and black yoga style pants, a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, a gray/white shirt, and light blue Croc shoes.
