Ohio State Highway Patrol: 24-year-old man killed in Ashtabula County crash

Police say the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

ASHTABULA, Ohio — Ohio State Highway Patrol officials are investigating a fatal one-vehicle crash that happened in Ashtabula.

OSHP says the crash happened on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 1:45 a.m. when a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado drove off the right side of Middle Road and struck a boulder, fire hydrant and tree. 

The vehicle then overturned and struck another tree before coming to a stop. 

The driver, 24-year-old Vincent Noah of Ashtabula, died from his injuries on the scene. 

Officials say that Noah was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. 

The North Kingsville Police Department and Fire Department assisted Ohio State Highway Patrol at the scene of the crash.

At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
