As far as the Northeast Ohio weather outlook for the weekend goes, the 3News weather team says we will remain cold and blustery with a bit of reprieve for the first half of the week next week. Thereafter, a formidable system ejecting out of the west is expected to bring a synoptic snow event through the Wednesday through Friday time period with lake effect snow showers carrying through to the start of the weekend. Model runs continue to allude toward heavy, accumulating snowfall. This will be a point of focus leading into to the Christmas holiday weekend. For now, we do know that significant cold will be in tow: teens to single-digits likely.
