CANTON, Ohio — Canton police have arrested a suspect and three others after a shooting took place on Tuesday morning.
At approximately 3:57 a.m., Canton police officers were dispatched to a residence on the 1200 block of 8th Street N.E. after a call came in about a shooting.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a single victim lying unresponsive in the hallway of the residence. The officers noticed apparent gunshot wounds to the body.
The victim was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton where they were pronounced dead at 4:22 a.m.
Canton Police arrested 38-year-old Roscoe Alford, who is being charged with Murder. Three others were arrested in connection to the shooting as well:
- 37-year-old Alicia Benson: Charged with Obstructing Justice, 3 counts of Child Endangering and an unrelated felony warrant
- 33-year-old Brittany Reeves: Charged with Tampering with Evidence
- 51-year-old Catherine Graddy: Charged with Tampering with Evidence, Obstructing Justice
