CANTON, Ohio — A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in Canton after police say his dad was found dead in a shooting early Tuesday morning.
Canton police say officers responded to the scene in the 1300 block of 7th Street NW around 5:06 a.m. Tuesday. Upon their arrival, officers say they found the victim -- “who appeared to have sustained several gunshot wounds” -- dead inside the residence.
The victim has been identified as 50-year-old Musa El Bey of Canton.
The suspect was arrested at the scene on a charge of murder. 3News has decided not to name him at this time.
An investigation is ongoing.
