CLEVELAND — Justin Robert Brown, 28, of Cleveland is in custody today after attempting to run over two police officers with a car.

According to Cleveland Police, on December 22, officers were sent to 12000 Sprecher area of Cleveland in connection to a warrant they had on Brown. While monitoring the home they were sent to, officers observed the suspect enter a vehicle outside of the home and drive away with a female in the passenger seat.

Detectives attempted to pull the vehicle containing the suspect over in a traffic stop, and the car came to a stop momentarily. While officers were exiting their police vehicle, the suspect put his car in reverse and accelerated in an attempted to run over the two officers.
