Cleveland Police Commander steps down, Stacho steps up

Commander Thomas Stacho, who is currently assigned as Commander of Communications and Property, will assume command of the Second District.

CLEVELAND -- Police Chief Calvin D. Williams confirmed that current Second District Commander Keith Sulzer will be stepping down from his current position.

Commander Sulzer will resume his civil service rank of Captain and be assigned to the Division's Community Policing Unit as Captain and serve as liaison between the Division and the Cleveland Police Foundation.

Commander Thomas Stacho, who is currently assigned as Commander of Communications and Property, will assume command of the Second District.

These changes in command will take effect Wednesday (March 26)
