The staff at Bloom Bakery says they have experienced success since the opening of their first two locations.
Both their Public Square and Campus District locations will be extending their hours.
The Public Square location will be open 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Fridays, from 7a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays. It is also open Mondays through Thursday 6 a.m to 6 p.m.
The Cleveland State University location will be open until 9 p.m., 9 p.m. Monday thru Friday, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
In addition to its extended hours, Bloom Bakery is also launching, Bloom Rewards.
According to the bakery, the rewards program will allows customers to earn points for each purchase and redeem them for free items, such as coffee, pastries, and sandwiches.
The Bakery is also adding to their menu with the addition of crepes and artisan pizza at the CSU location.
Bloom Bakery is also offering a 10 percent discount to CSU students and faculty that are registered for Bloom Rewards.
Bloom Bakery is a product of Towards Employment, a non-profit organization that helps people find jobs and become self-sufficient.
The venture has been called a "social enterprise," which was incorporated as a public benefit corporation.
The storefront and bakery are expected to generate jobs but also raise funds for Towards Employment’s programs and services.
