CLEVELAND — Authorities are investigating after a woman's body was found in an open field Wednesday morning.
Police responded to a grassy areas near the 9300 block of Empire Avenue for reports of suspicious activity and a discovered body.
EMS at the scene pronounced the victim dead.
Prior to the body's discovery, witnesses heard multiple gun shots Tuesday evening around 11 p.m. An older black SUV was seen leaving the area.
