Body found in water near Historic Cleveland Coast Guard Station

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police and Cleveland Division of Fire have confirmed to 3News that human remains have been pulled from the waters of Lake Erie on Thursday.

Cleveland Fire Lt. Mike Norman tells 3News that the remains were discovered near the docks at the Historic Cleveland Coast Guard Station. Firefighters are waiting for the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner to arrive before recovering the body.
