CLEVELAND – The VeloSano Bike to cure ride starts Saturday in Cleveland.
Among the hundreds of riders will be Angela Ledyard, a cancer survivor, who will ride in the 100-mile Challenge.
All of the money raised for the VeloSano ride will go toward cancer research at the Cleveland Clinic.
On Ledyard's VeloSano participant page she writes, "I am a thyroid cancer survivor, daughter to a colon cancer survivor, granddaughter to my beloved grandmother that died of breast cancer, and a friend of far too many individuals that have been affected by cancer,"
That is why she said she will be riding Saturday morning.
Ledyard is riding with the team 'Black Girls Do Bike CLE.' For information on VeloSano or to donate click here.
